Gereon Yee

Hailing from northern California, Gereon attended Santa Rosa Junior college before transferring to UC Davis, where he received his B.S. in chemistry in 2010. After earning his doctorate in 2016 with William Tolman at the University of Minnesota, Gereon joined the groups of Professors Ian Tonks and Marc Hillmyer as a postdoctoral research associate where he is currently studying catalytic hydroesterification reactions and their application towards selective and atom-economic routes to sustainable monomers and biodegradable polymers.
