Farihah grew up in Louisiana, where she completed here chemistry B.S. at Loyola University New Orleans. Farihah joined Prof. Scott Grayson’s lab at Tulane University where she completed her PhD. Much of her PhD work focused on studying the synthesis and characterization of cyclic polymers to study the impact of architecture on physical properties. Farihah joined Prof. Marc Hillmyer’s group as a postdoc to shift research directions and learn about the synthesis and characterization of sustainable materials.
